Getting Here

For those traveling by air, the nearest airport is the Jackson Hole Airport (JAC). For those renting a car, major airports within a day's drive include: Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and Denver International Airport (DEN).

Jackson Hole Airport is located approximately 10 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming. Jackson is our home, and a popular vacation destination with a variety of hotels, restaurants, activities and amenities.

Our headquarters for the celebration will be the CM Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming. Dubois is a small western town along the Wind River, approximately 85 miles and a 1.5 hour drive from Jackson. The ceremony itself will take place nearby on the top of Togwotee Pass, we're hoping for pleasant weather and a spectacular view of the Teton mountain range.

If you have any specific travel questions, or are interested in arranging a ride share from the Jackson area to Dubois, please contact us at andrewanddana@mail.com.

We are delighted to have reserved the use of the historic CM Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming for our guests from the afternoon of Friday, September 6th through the morning of Sunday, September 8th. If you are planning to attend please RSVP as soon as possible (we can't wait to see you!) We should be able to accomodate the majority of our guests at the CM Ranch.

Comfortable rooms and cabins are also available approximately 3 miles from the ranch at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort. Just 5 miles from the ranch, downtown Dubois has a number of comfortable, affordable accomodation options as well, such as The Stagecoach Inn & Suites and The Twin Pines Lodge & Cabins.

Surrounding Area and Activities

We love Wyoming and the endless recreational activities that abound here in our mountian home. In late summer and early fall you can hike, camp, climb, bike, raft, kayak, soak in a hot spring, ride horses, fly-fish and more.

We are just outside of both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park. September is an excellent time to view both the park's sights and our wonderful Wyoming wildlife. Book a sunrise tour with a local wildlife guide company such as Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris for your best chance of spotting an elusive wolf or grizzly bear.

In Dubois, the CM Ranch offers fishing along the creek, hiking in the surrounding foothills, even a cave to explore. Guided horseback trail rides and fishing trips can be booked just down the road at the The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort. Dubois is also home to the Antelope Hills Golf Course, a 9 hole course offering incredible views of the Wind River valley.

Early September in northwest Wyoming tends to bring pleasant, sunny days with moderate temperatures (~70s °F), dipping into cooler temperatures at night (~40s °F). Sometimes it can get quite windy out here, and although unlikely, a light snow is not outside the realm of possibility. We recommend bringing a wind and waterproof coat, some warm layers, sturdy footwear and your sense of adventure.
